reasoning Morgan due to her childhood being raised in the Nightsister tradition then suffering trauma as a teenager led her down the fear -> anger -> hate path. Since her people were slaughtered she's been looking for a replacement, and is willing to do most anything and even suffer indignities and xenophobic abuse for them. However, she uses slave labor, summary executions, extreme concerned conscription, and other tyrannical means to achieve her goals, without moral quandary. Morgan doesn’t, strictly speaking, see herself as selfish, feeling the galaxy owes her for what Grievous took and she truly believes what she is doing is for Her People, even if it’s people she collects. Doing terrible things for the “right reason” so to speak. To “outsiders”, she is often cold, smug, and guarded, occasionally even hostile. Few people, even others working with her know her true goals at this point although she will share them with other Nightkin she finds in part to attempt to bind them all together in a common goal. In Folkmore she’s going to have to expand her ideas of what “her people” are (due to canonmates and their CR) and how hanging on to hatred only harms her and those she cares about.
